Come and join us for a relaxing & mindful Crafternoon Slow stitching your own personalised hanging. Suitable for age 10+ although it is an adults workshop. Might be a nice Parent/Child, Grandchild/Grandparent workshop as it’s half term 😊 What is Slow Stitching? Slow stitching is an ancient practice, although the term is relatively new. To slow stitch is to take time to mindfully create something new through stitching with needle and thread. It's also a fantastic way to use up those spare fabrics and old clothes.
Although materials are provided you may want to bring and bits of lace or buttons etc that may mean something to you to incorporate into your design.
Sewing beginners are welcome, all the sewing will be hand embroidery no sewing machine stitching.
