Still Life Embroidered CollageCreate a piece of work using fabric collage, free machine or hand
stitching. You will be shown how to mix fabric and paper together for the
jug and there’s a choice of templates to pick from or you may prefer to draw
your own.
You will be shown ideas for adding some Autumn inspiration with honesty and
berries or something from a Summer garden too. The sample piece includes a
vintage charm which you might like to include too.
This workshop is suitable for both hand and free machine stitching or a
combination of both. Plenty of samples for inspiration!
Requirements for students / What to bring;
Hand sewing kit (there will be some available at Ditzy Rose too) including your own scissors.
Sewing machine with freehand foot and feed dogs down if you would like to do free motion embroidery.
Any special fabrics/lace you might want to include in your work.
You may wish to include an old charm or button.
