Hola, how are you?I’d like to share some exciting news.
During the last 2 years, I’ve been teaching dressmaking. The first year, one-to-one with a couple of ladies and this year, a couple of small groups, adults, teenagers and a couple of children workshops during half term.
I had a lovely feedback:
“ She teaches the basic know-how required to start her students’ learning, with enthusiasm, humour and patience: She helped us understand the technical aspects. She also encouraged us to discover our own journey in dressmaking, so that each student really felt that they were gaining skills and being guided to address their needs ( e.g. body shape, garment function, and style ambitions)” C.
“You hosted the cutest workshop today, my daughter loved her time with you! Teaching her different hand stitching & how to upcycle & customise some of her existing clothing. Well done Ana- today was perfect for her, also a nice small group creates a lovely calm experience and sharing your love & skill & creativity is wonderful” L.
“ Such a fun session tonight-thank you, ladies. Can’t wait to wear my top that actually fits me now” C.
“ Ana, the girls loved tonight and are keen for the next one…” S.
As I can see the benefits, the enthusiasm, the creativity, the friendship, the confidence and more.
I’m offering Slow Sewing classes for small groups where you can enjoy the present, learn new skills and see your progress.
I will add the link below where you can find all the information about the new classes starting in September.
I wish you a wonderful summer holiday and see you in September, ready to create and upcycle your unique and sustainable wardrobe.
