Slow Love is an immersive experience to create authentic connection with oneself and in relation to another by integrating mind, body, spirit and heart to strengthen relationships and deepen intimacy. We will incorporate use somatic practices, embodied relating practices, conscious communication, polarity dance and the art of ritual.
Embodied Relating
This aspect encourages us to inhabit our bodies by feeling all the senses, being in the present moment and quieting the mind
Breath
We utilize our breath as the bridge from our body to our mind to harmonize our physical, mental and emotional awareness
Movement
Self expression through movement and dance to awaken our bodies natural somatic intelligence.
Conscious Communication
We all yearn to be understood, which is the highest form of intimacy. How can we share and express ourselves where we feel welcome and safe? We can share our feelings, desires and establish healthy boundaries with honesty, honor, humor compassion. Receiving one another free of judgement, shame and blame
Ritual of Love
In Tantra we view love as an action and revere relationships as sacred exchange. Using the art of ritual we turn the ordinary into extraordinary by melting into one another and engaging all of the senses.
Polarity Dance
Understand the play between the masculine and feminine energies that co-exist in each one of us.
Understand the dynamic of magnetism and how these energies complement and elevate your experience. Feel and embody your instinctual and intuitive selves
This workshop is suitable for couples, friends and individuals open to partnering for some exercises
Matthew and Mahala love to share practices that have shifted and helped their own relationship and love to help others. They are graduates of Tantra Essence, Embodied Relating, Awaken As Love, The Field and Conscious Intimacy Academy.
