Join Beth for a Slow Flow Yoga every Saturday at 8:45a. Bring your mat and a water. This is a slow flow class that moves a little more slowly and holds poses for a while longer (3-5 breaths). They are deep, mindful sequences of poses that help to focus and calm you. Because of the slower pace, some find these classes more accessible to beginners or if you have an injury. Slow flow yoga provides the practitioner with more room to breathe with awareness, which helps us regulate the nervous system, increasing stability. It moves slower, helping us calm and find a little bit of separation from the so-called monkey mind.
