Slow Birding Walk at the University of Nevada, Reno-Extension Botanic Gardens in

Enjoy the Botanic Gardens and learn about plants that grow well in Southern Nevada home gardens which attract and support birds. Enjoy a sensory experience in the garden while learning what birds commonly reside in local home gardens and perhaps view a few nonresident birds on their fall migration. This event is ideal for persons with limited mobility, new to birding or those who want to experience nature at a slower pace. a Donation of $5.00 per person is suggested, but you can donate as much as you want.

Slow bird walks will be offered in the Extension Botanic Gardens on the second Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Please sign up on Eventbrite. Participation is limited.

The Botanic Gardens are located at 8050 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89123. The walks will begin in the main area of the garden at the northern edge of the campus, just behind the main building. Look for the chain link fence and the gate. The walk will begin in the Pollinator Pavilion
