Join us at the Missoula Art Museum on Saturday, April 5, 2025, for Slow Art Day, an international event celebrating the power of slow looking. In partnership with local Missoula furniture stores we are creating a thoughtfully curated, welcoming space where visitors can sit, reflect, and deeply engage with art. Guests will be invited to observe five selected artworks, spending 5–10 minutes with each piece to take in its details, emotions, and stories. Comfortable seating, provided by our partners, will be placed throughout the galleries to encourage a relaxed and immersive experience. This event is free and open to all, whether you’re a seasoned art lover or a first-time visitor looking to discover the transformative power of slowing down. Drop in anytime between 10:00 PM – 5:00 PM, sign in at the museum, and receive a guide to the selected artworks.
