Location: Lake Hayes Recreation Area, North-End Lake Hayes (accessed from Arrowtown-Lake Hayes Road)Registration: 8:30am - 9:00am
Race Briefing: 9:15am
Start first wave: 9:30am
The race starts in waves, with the fastest time winning. The race is open to all classes of kayak and waka 6's and to all paddling abilities.
We have two race options:
1. The main race - two laps @14km
2. One lap race - @7km (one category only)
All paddlers must carry the required Compulsory Gear. Prize giving will be held once the final paddler has completed the course.
Join us for a coffee, delicious warm things, and to share some yarns about your day on the water after the race. Location confirmed post-race.
