Slieve Croob is situated South of Dromara. Please bring a packed lunch in your backpack and sensible footwear and a waterproof coat. We will likely NOT return to the cars for lunch due to the nature of the site. Please note from past experience dogs are strictly NOT allowed even on the paths on leads so please leave dogs at home for this on.. There are multiple signs warning to not bring them and livestock on the hills. Head to Hillsborough, and after the roundabout enter the A1 (for dublin) Pass the Hillsborugh Castle carpark and take the next left after the flyover. as you take the sliproad heading for Hillsborough. take the first road immediately on your right for Dromore. Take the first left after the layby, signposted Dromara 6. Follow to Dromara village and continue straight through the village. Road becomes the Rathfriland Road. Pass the Dromara football club and the next small area you come to is Finnia. In Finnis you are going to take the Left turn onto Dree Hill. Follow this road until you see the Stone walled carpark on your left. Slieve croob will be visable and has large ariel masts on the top.
