About this Event

Sleep Well: a Masterclass for Real Rest

Do you find yourself lying awake at night, struggling to fall asleep, waking in the early hours, or feeling like your body just won’t switch off?

All natural and holistic, this masterclass is designed to guide you back into deep, restorative sleep, without overwhelming or drastic lifestyle changes.

We’ll explore the foundations of sleep onset (falling asleep) and sleep maintenance (staying asleep), helping you understand what’s happening in your body and why sleep may not be coming easily right now.

If you’ve ever found yourself mentally reorganising your entire life at 2am, this is for you.

Together, we’ll cover:

  • Why your body isn’t switching off and how to support it naturally
  • How to fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake feeling truly rested
  • The role of the nervous system in sleep, and how to regulate it
  • Supportive tools such as essential oils, natural supplements, and gentle lifestyle shifts
  • Simple, realistic evening rituals you can begin straight away, no full life overhaul required

Come with your questions and make the most of this opportunity to learn from Buffy while she’s in Wellington!

A wholesome plant-based dinner and dessert is included in your ticket too! A chance to connect and keep the conversation going.

The talk will be followed by a nourishing plant-based dinner and dessert! All included in your ticket.

Meet the Host: Buffy

About our wonderful host coming all the way from Auckland to speak in Welly! Buffy Ellen Gill is a Nutritionist, Naturopath, and Author based in Auckland, New Zealand. After recovering from Graves’ disease 12 years ago through a nutrient-rich whole foods diet and natural lifestyle, she began her successful recipe blog, Be Good Organics, which now has over 180,000 followers. In 2022 she published her first cookbook, Be Good, a compilation of 100 easy, healthy recipes centred on whole, mostly plant-based ingredients. She also runs an online Cooking School for people wanting to learn more about vibrant whole foods cooking, natural health, and herbal medicine.

Buffy holds a Bachelor of Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine and a Diploma of Nutrition from Wellpark College, along with a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce (Economics, Finance, and Languages). She works with numerous corporate clients to promote natural health and whole foods living, consults privately on nutrition and natural medicine, and regularly presents cooking and wellness classes in-person and online. Her passion is helping people feel their best — using a balanced, real-food approach that celebrates plants while also including other nutrient-dense foods — so they can live healthier, happier lives.11

Buffy is the proud mother of four children — Mila (11), Torin (7) and identical twin boys Caspian and Otto (2). She lives with her partner Tony and their two Burmese cats, Zeus and Luna, in Auckland, and spends as much time as possible in Arrowtown, Waiheke Island, and travelling overseas with her family as freedom, connection, fun, joy and love are her core motivators and values.
