About this Event
The Sleepy Chimp is a practical, evidence-informed workshop exploring the connection between sleep, stress, resilience and workplace performance. Using accessible neuroscience, Prof Steve Peters’ Chimp Paradox model and proven resilience frameworks, the session helps participants understand why they react the way they do under pressure and what can help to regain emotional control.
The workshop challenges common myths about sleep, explains the real impact of fatigue on decision-making, wellbeing and productivity, and introduces simple, realistic tools that can be applied immediately in work and life.
Attendees will leave with greater self-awareness, practical strategies to manage stress and energy, and a clearer understanding of how healthy sleep and emotional resilience support sustainable performance, both personally and organisationally.

Tori Cooper
- I’m on a mission to empower you to improve your health and wellness.
I hold a Diploma in Health Coaching from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, a certificate in Nutrition in Culinary Practice from Leith’s School in London, a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy and I am a trained CBT-I Practitioner. With a strong foundation in science, having earned a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Environmental Science, I bring a unique blend of knowledge and practical experience to my coaching practice.
Before embarking on my training to become a Health Coach, I spent over 15 years in marketing and communications, where I first developed my skills in coaching and leadership as a senior manager. My personal experience with health challenges, and frustrations with not being heard, ignited a genuine desire to help others navigate their own health journeys. To create a space to talk and to navigate the overwhelm you can feel with it all.
My approach to health coaching is grounded in simplicity and sustainability. I believe in supporting you to create achievable health goals that are specific to your body and your life. I feel that nourishing foods should be part of daily life. And by combining practical strategies with a holistic perspective, I want to empower you to make lasting lifestyle changes and achieve lasting results.
Let’s work together to simplify your journey to a healthier, happier, and more vibrant you.
