Heaven For RealHelmed by iconoclastic songwriting twins Mark and J. Scott Grundy, Heaven For Real has existed in many iterations over the past decade; consistently twisting the raw genre materials of pop and rock into perplexingly poetic configurations. Their latest LP Who Died & Made You The Dream? was released on Mint Records in November 2025.
Cistern
Raw, scrappy and intuitive, Cistern is just a group of friends forging awe and anguish into song. Utilizing multiple songwriters, the group casts a wide net for inspiration, including ‘00s indie rock, ‘90s slowcore and ‘80s post-punk, resulting in songs with unconventional structures and drastic dynamic changes.
Babe Corner
Blending classic, nostalgic pop with grunge hooks, this all-femme band anchors its music in sincere songwriting and emotionally rich live performances. In 2025, Babe Corner released two singles: "I'm Like U" and "Feels Like," both of which expand their sound while leaning deeper into the intimacy of raw, messy connection.
Window Lamp Corp.
Garage rock crashes into punk edges and pop cushioning in Window Lamp Corp’s jangling universe. Their debut album Episode became a local standout, landing in CJSW’s most-played releases of 2023. Whether blasting through speakers or shaking up a pit, the four-piece moves with unruly enthusiasm and a charm that feels impossible to contain.
