Let's go surf fishing, Slayers!! This fun, family-friendly event will be a fundraiser for Mala, Para's sister. We will help raise funds for Mala's battle against lung cancer. It’s been over 2 years now, and she has tried every treatment out there, including chemo. It has helped her combat the spread and contain it, but it won’t completely get rid of it. However, there’s still hope with a new treatment out there that her doctor says could be a game changer, but it's expensive 🙏 She’s no longer fighting this battle alone - we stand with Mala! #TeamMala There will be fishing fun in the morning on the beach and then raffles & a Slayers Cookout featuring Cambodian beef skewers, noodle dishes, egg rolls, and more!!
We'll be meeting in the FIRST lot at Little Talbot Island State Park at 8am (but feel free to join when you can). Bring your gear, your beach carts, and your questions! **And if you want to come learn about how to get into surf fishing, get in on some awesome raffles, or just want to hang out - BRING IT ON!
Fishing - 8am to Noon
Waffles & Cookout - Noon to 2pm
(All donations go to Mala's fight against cancer!!)
As always, this event is free. But there is a fee to enter the park:
$5 per vehicle (up to eight people).
$4 single-occupant vehicle.
Exact change or credit card is required.
