'Probably the most unconventional duo in folk music'.
‘Skinner & T’witch have been described as “a pair of comic geniuses” and I would not disagree - they are unique: there is nobody to compare them with’. The Living Tradition

Skinner & T’witch have been on the road since 2014; released five albums; and have performed widely around the UK. They have toured both in Australia and the US.
They're absolutely delighted by the wonderful reviews they've received for the gigs they've played so far this year, which mean so much:
'What a fantastic night! A varied and lively performance from Skinner & Twitch. The audience went home very happy. We have had some wonderful performances over the years and yours was certainly up there as being one of the best.' Blackfordby Old School Room
'Many thanks to Skinner & T'witch for an excellent evening of music, humour and uplifting harmonies again last night at the mill. They are a real treat. There is a natural warmth between them on stage that draws the audience in and creates a real connection. Great songs, with laughter and a touch of flamenco - who could ask for more!' The Black Dyke Mills Heritage Venue
'You were both absolutely fantastic tonight. The songwriting was brilliant, and the way you both performed together was amazing. The song about having to leave a war torn country ('God, Where Are You?') brought goosebumps and tears. I was transported during your seasonal songs, especially 'England's Spring'. You balanced the audience participation brilliantly, and everyone is still talking about it. We can’t wait to have you back again. Thank you again for a wonderful evening of such varied entertainment'. Pailton Village Hall Trust
'A big 'Thankyou' for entertaining us so well. It was a great night, with great songs and musicianship. We all thoroughly enjoyed your set. Lovely to be able to join in with some chorouses too. A wealth of talent and fun, and a great mix of songs.' Dunfermline Folk Club
"It was a great wee night. Once again we were kept entertained with wit, song and verse. Fabulous.' Stirling Folk Club
'A lovely entertaining evening'. Strathaven Folk Club
Steve and Sandra {aka Skinner and T'witch} entertained everybody with their wide variety of serious, humorous, thought-provoking, and folky songs. Hugely entertaining'. Boston Folk Club
'Skinner & Twitch are both highly skilled entertainers, exuding energy and passion for their craft. The great variety adds impetus, as you never know what may be coming next. An act worth going out your way for.' Trevor Carter, Redcatch Club
'Skinner & Twitch gave a terrific performance for a delighted audience, with such a wide variety of musical genres. The way they bounce off each other with their comedy is so natural. Steve's songwriting makes him right up there with the best on the folk/roots scene. I would urge anybody who has not seen them to take the opportunity to go and see them when they are in your area! Wath Festival
'Brilliant and unique songwriting, with great stories and atmospherics added to the mix, including a rather creepy Halloween song - fab!! The crowd was vey appreciative of Steve and Sandra's professional performance. This was a great night, and we hope to see Skinner & T'witch back at the club in the not too distant future. A unique and fun night.' Glenfarg Folk Club
'Great music, great variety and great personalities. Very inspiring. We didn’t know quite what to expect from Skinner & Twitch on their debut at Irvine, but what we got was almost akin to a music-hall evening and it went down a treat. Their humour, easy rapport with the audience, varied repertoire and skilled guitar playing all added up to a really enjoyable night. Haste ye back!' Irvine Folk Club
'Skinner & T'witch reference Flanders and Swann, Jake Thackray and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. We were in for a treat then! Skinner is a studied song crafter, fine guitarist and singer. T’witch possesses a beautiful voice - classically trained and, boy, it shows. What strikes are some beautifully crafted counterpoint parts to the vocal arrangements...most impressive, and the honed nature of the evening...banter between performers, asides to the audience, punchline timings right down, even, to the raise of an eyebrow - we could almost be sitting in a BBC studio for a Radio Four comedy recording. The material falls broadly into two camps – serious and comic. The serious songs are very beautiful, and the comic stuff pokes holes, is clever, and manages to get us to sing along. A very different night for the folk club. I’d recommend listening to Skinner & T’witch, they definitely have their own thing goin’ on - they’re not like everyone else. Oh, and if you weren’t there - as we say up here – ye missed yersel.' Crail Folk Club
'Thank you for a really enjoyable performance. I loved every minute! You must have worked very hard to get your act to such a high standard, and it shows!! I see you are playing at Black Dyke Mills on 27th September, it's in my diary.’ The Topic Folk Club
‘You were fantastic !!!thankyou for giving us your amazing repertoire!!!’ First Monday Folk, Keighley
