About this Event

🌿 Skilful Adjustments Workshop
For Yoga Teachers|Small Group (Max 8)
with Laura González

Skilful adjustments are a powerful form of communication between teacher and student.
They can offer clarity, safety, and ease that words or demonstrations alone often cannot.

In this small-group, teacher-focused workshop, Laura González will guide you through the principles, purpose, and practice of skilful adjustments — not just how to adjust, but when, why, and whether to adjust at all.

With many years of teaching and assisting experience, Laura’s approach is known for being safe, respectful, and deeply student-led. Her adjustments prioritise listening, timing, and awareness rather than forcing shape.

Because every body, nervous system, and practice is different, this workshop is designed to feel personal, supportive, and practical. With a maximum of 8 participants, Laura is able to work closely with each teacher, answering questions and adapting guidance to individual needs.

We’ll begin with a short meditation to settle the mind and reconnect with the deeper intention of teaching yoga, before moving into hands-on practice. You’ll explore adjustments that are safe, respectful, student-led, and grounded in breath and awareness — adjustments that support learning rather than impose shape.

This workshop is ideal if you:

• Feel unsure or overwhelmed about adjusting
• Want to refine your touch with more confidence and sensitivity
• Are newly qualified or an experienced teacher wanting to deepen your skills
• Want to understand adjustments on both a technical and energetic level

What We’ll Cover

• Adjustments across different teaching styles
