Hello Charlotte Urban Sketchers, Are you a beginner sketcher or a seasoned pro? We welcome all levels. You'll meet like-minded folks while you practice observing and sketching in the greater Charlotte area. Our sketch meets are always free.
Location: Pikes Nursery in Ballantyne, 12630 N. Community House Rd., Charlotte, NC
Sketching Schedule - 11:00 – 1:00pm
- 11:00 pm: Meet & greet in front of the Nursery
- 11:10 pm: Find a spot to sketch
- 12:45 pm: Sketch thrown down and admire each other's work.
Things to bring:
- Something to draw with pencil, pastel, ink pen, charcoal, pastel, watercolors, whatever is your portable favorite.
- Something to draw on (sketchbook, paper, parchment, lithograph stone!)
- Optional: Something to sit on, sunscreen, and hat
