3 day workshop7-9PM
Sketching from life and travels, not photographs, students will learn basic drawing skills and will come
away with tried-and-true methods of quickly capturing the moment or subject that really work. A tool
box, If you will. If practice (about 20 min/day) is done each week as assigned, (Georgia will be available to coach
via email in between classes) students will be able to sketch “on automatic” and capture the essence of
the subject before the class concludes. All materials provided
Week 1 - 9/10 -introductions & contour drawing
Week 2 - 9/17 -gesture drawing
Week 3 - 9/23 -shading techniques
