Week 1- 9/11 Quick dry papier mache’. Foil armature, newspaper and masking tape structure. Tissue paper cover. Cut out
copy paper or card stock embellishments.
Week 2- 9/18 Spinners, tops, and whirligigs. Image and color blending toys made of cardboard and string. Learn some history
Week 3- 9/25 Paper mobiles ala Calder; Bonticou
Week 4- 10/2 Sock puppet operetta. The screen’s a stage and all the socks are players. Bring a mismatched sock, your
funniest joke and your singing voice. Artists featured are Jim Hensen and Sandra Boynton.
Week 5- 10/9 Birds nest Baskets and paper weaving. A new spin on an old craft
Week 6- 10/16 Make your own board game with spinners and game pieces.
Week 7- 10/23 Spirit boxes. Cut. Fold. Tape. Collage. Insert treasures, dreams and wishes.
Week 8- 10/30 Free build finale. A round robin game of cooperative construction with natural materials gathered in advance. Artists featured are Andy Goldsworthy and Heather Jansch.
