About this Event
This seven week course will introduce students to sketch comedy starting with commercials and character monologues. Students will learn the basics of comedy writing and then use them to generate funny scenarios and interesting characters from scratch. Students will then revise and refine their material with feedback while learning how to put their work on stage, culminating in a showcase of monologues and scenes, as part of our Holiday Sketch show. There is no prerequisite for this writing intensive course.

This is a recurring seven week class, Thursdays from 7-9pm starting October 28th. The instructor is Lindsay Goldapp. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.
