SAW is pleased to invite you to a special expanded edition of its much-loved fundraising event SKETCH, returning on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 7PM to 11PM, at SAW.
Spanning both floors of the centre, this year’s event features a two-day preview, an art sale, a silent auction, DJ performances and a special welcome cocktail. This special edition of SKETCH is generously supported by art collector Bill Staubi.
The art sale and silent auction will include over 150 works by regional, Canadian and international artists (full list announced November 16). Featured artists include Barry Ace, Lori Blondeau, Pat Durr, Evergon, Mendelson Joe, Mélanie Myers, Rehab Nazzal, Yoko Ono, Josie Pootoogook, Nujalia Pootoogook, Barry Pottle, Guillermo Trejo and Paul Wong, among many others.
All proceeds support SAW and the Nordic Lab, funding residency and educational programs. Launched in 2021, the Nordic Lab is a research and production space for artists from the circumpolar world, fostering intercultural and intergenerational collaboration and exchange.

SAW a le plaisir de vous inviter à une édition spéciale revisitée de son événement-bénéfice très apprécié SKETCH, de retour le jeudi 4 décembre 2025, de 19 h à 23 h, à SAW. Déployé sur les deux étages du centre, l’événement proposera une exposition en avant-première de deux jours, une vente d’œuvres, un encan silencieux, des performances de DJ ainsi qu’un cocktail de bienvenue. Cette édition spéciale de SKETCH est rendue possible grâce au généreux soutien du collectionneur Bill Staubi.
Plus de 150 œuvres d’artistes régionaux, canadiens et internationaux seront mises en vente (liste complète dévoilée le 16 novembre). L’encan présentera des œuvres originales et en édition de Barry Ace, Lori Blondeau, Pat Durr, Evergon, Mendelson Joe, Mélanie Myers, Rehab Nazzal, Yoko Ono, Josie Pootoogook, Nujalia Pootoogook, Barry Pottle, Guillermo Trejo et Paul Wong, parmi bien d’autres.
L’ensemble des recettes soutiendra SAW et le Labo nordique, afin de financer des programmes de résidence et de formation artistique. Lancé en 2021, le Labo nordique est un espace de recherche et de production destiné aux artistes du monde circumpolaire, favorisant la collaboration et les échanges interculturels et intergénérationnels.
