About this Event
With help from 'The Friends of Skelton Grange', our Easter Good Friday event is a glorious outdoor trail wandering through the woods and gardens at Skelton Grange. Complete a treasure hunt along the way and trade in your trove for a chocolatey Easter surprise at the end! The event is a fundraiser for the Centre and a great chance for families to enjoy Easter fun!
The Skelton Café will be open to buy hot drinks and sweet treats at the end. There will also be crafts/activities along the trail to be announced.
Tickets are required for all children attending the event, but babies (18 months or under) are welcome free.
Adults need to attend to accompany their children around the trail but do not require a ticket if they are accompanied by a child or children.
Tickets are £7.50 (plus Eventbrite booking fee). Click on 'Get Tickets' and choose your timeslot between 11am and 1pm.
Access note: Please be aware that there is currently a security cabin and gate about halfway along Skelton Grange Road. This is in relation to the construction site next door to the Environment Centre.
If you travel by car they will probably note the vehicle registration and ask for the driver’s name and where you are going (tell them TCV). It is simply to keep track of traffic entering and leaving. If you are walking down you can go straight past. Essentially, don’t be worried when you see it, you are going to the right place!

- A: Yes, there is no charge for parking in our car park, and we have lots of space.
- Q: Is the trail wheelchair accessible?
- A: The trail is accessible to wheelchairs with a mix of mown grass and woodchip paths. However, if the weather has been very rainy there can be muddy sections that people who use wheelchairs might find difficult.
- Q: Are dogs allowed?
- A: We only allow assistance/guide dogs on TCV sites.
