About this Event
Skeleton Stories at The Insect Asylum 🦴✨
Skeleton Stories is an interactive class that explores how bioarchaeologists use human and animal remains to uncover details about an individual's past. Participants will learn how skeletal markers reveal diet, lifestyle, health, and occupation clues. Participants can examine these markers firsthand using replica bones and make observations and inferences about an individual's life. This hands-on activity offers a fascinating glimpse into the stories bones can tell and the scientific methods used to interpret them. This class will be taught by our resident educator and bone enthusiast - Grace Johnson!
