We invite you to join us to find out more about Canford Sixth Form. This new event is designed to complement, rather than replace, an Open Morning visit for those interested in joining Canford for Sixth Form. Based in the College Hub, which opened in March this year, the event will offer the chance for families to chat informally with teaching staff representing all A Level subject options in ‘freshers fair’ style, and to meet Sixth Form Canfordians as well as those in our current Fifth Form.
The College Hub includes a range of social and study spaces plus our Wellbeing centre and Futures centre. It is the main space for Sixth Form life for both day and boarding pupils.
Upper Sixth boarding accommodation in ensuite study bedrooms will be opening next to the Hub building in September 2026.
Event schedule
From 17:00: Arrival and sign in at the Sixth Form Hub. Light refreshments available.
From 17:00: Heads of Department, Sixth Form and Admissions staff will be available during the entirety of the event to talk to families about any questions they many have about the Canford Sixth Form experience.
17:15/17:45/18:15: Headmaster, Chris Wheeler and Assistant Head College, Julia Bird will give the same short introductory talk at three separate times during the evening, please do book for one of the talks via the booking form.
19:00: Sixth Form information evening ends.
