About this Event
The one-act play is a close cousin to the short story, in that a lot happens in a brief amount of timeāand when done well, the one-act resonates and affects audiences with the power of a full-length dramatic work. The selected works harken to the simple human theme of interaction. What happens when people meet, what do they say to each other, what do they conceal, what do they reveal, and what happens to the audience upon witnessing their interaction? The event relies as much on the actors and playwrights as it does on the audience, which becomes an integral part of the intimate evening. The curtain goes up again.
