Join us for both Cradock and George peaks - a 22km route and approx 1600m elevation, you'd need to be quite fit&strong - this is a 8-10 hour outing with lots of climbing. What to expect: A beautiful view over George, the Swartberg Mountains and the coast!
We will proceed up to the cross starting from the Trail Kiosk. From there we head West along Thunderbird to the Railway line and then to the saddle between the two peaks. We head West to Cradock peak and then back to the saddle towards George peak, from where we will head back to the start the same way.
New friendships, camaraderie and great conversations between fellow hikers. And you would have conquered two peaks in one day and receive two pieces of the puzzle!
? Compulsary items: Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack, sunscreen, hat, trail shoes, snacks & trail food that will keep you fueled, 2l water. Lightweight windproof jacket/fleece, beanie and gloves depending the weather. (We will aim to postpone the hike in the case of rain, but a waterproof jacket might be a handy kit item). Best to always dress in layers. Space blanket, emergency energy bar/trail food, bandage, small petroleum jelly which comes in handy for chafing etc.

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, buffs, coffee.
