Situational Awareness & De-escalation Training

This Situational Awareness and De-escalation Training, led by instructors from ProActive Response Group LLC, equips participants with practical tools to identify escalating behavior and intervene safely before situations turn violent.
The course combines engaging lecture with scenario-based training, making it accessible for all experience levels. No prior training is required. Participants will learn how to stay aware of their environment, recognize pre-incident indicators, and apply proven de-escalation techniques to defuse tense situations — whether at work or in everyday life.
A key emphasis of the training is developing a survivor’s mindset: staying calm under stress, making informed decisions, and understanding response options when de-escalation is no longer possible.
