Site Preparation: Soil Tests, Fertilizer, Pest and Weeds- Big River Farms

In this session we will take a look at soil tests and what they can tell us about necessary purchases on the farm. Participants will learn how to interpret soil test information and what types of inputs may be necessary in moving forward with a growing season. Early spring is also a great time to inventory other necessary materials before planting season starts. Weeding and harvest tools as well as pest management supplies will also be discussed as necessary site preparation.
