$SIT, STAY, READ! Children\u2019s Reading Program$

The Sit, Stay, READ! Children’s Reading Program is back for our fall season. We invite all children to read to therapy dogs! Just drop by anytime between 10 AM and noon at the Pass Christian Library. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to improve their reading skills in a fun and enjoyable way. The therapy dogs and their pet partners love it when children read or look at books with them. This program is a family-friendly event.
Join us for the upcoming sessions on September 20, October 18, November 15, and December 20, 2025, at the Pass Christian Library, located at 111 Hiern Ave, Pass Christian, MS. These sessions will be held on the third Saturday of each month from 10 AM to noon.
The program is sponsored by the Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi. Each reading session typically lasts about 30 minutes. Children will be rewarded with bookmarks, stickers, or pencils for participating. The program is free, but please note that children must not have allergies to or fears of animals. There is no need to pre-register.
