Dick Ruse is a degenerate tattooer whose stand up is far from conventional. His irreverent point of view is one of a kind in a world of the same old. He’s brought his alternative act to every stage from club and college gigs to dive bars and tattoo conventions.
Always a crowd favorite, you may not recognize his face but his writing has been featured front page on FunnyorDie.com for contributions to YouTube sensation Zebra Corner. (YouTube.com/zebracorner) Zebra Corner is known for their unforgiving parody’s of Chevys “Real people, not actors” commercials and has grown from a few hundred subscribers to 1 million in a years time. Dick was recently named “Best Up and Coming Comedian” in Tampa Bay by Creative Loafing and mentioned as a St. Pete favorite by ILovetheBurg.com He is a regular guest on top rated Tampa radio show The Johnny B show on 102.5 The Bone FM.
His unique blend of crude, crass and clever has been seen all over the country. He was a recent headliner at the Portland Comedy Festival in Portland Maine, and a Roast Battle winner at the world famous Comedy Store in LA . Dick has appeared with Jim Florentine, Brad Williams, Big Jay Oakerson Randy and Mr. Lahey from Trailer Park Boys You may have heard him (once) on The Doug Stanhope Shotclog Podcast. Brian Zeolla is a comedian, writer and storyteller, from Jacksonville, FL by way of Houston TX. A 2014 Nominee for Best Comedian by Free Press Houston, Brian has performed with Demetri Martin, Neal Brennan (co-creator/ head writer of the Chapelle Show), Kyle Kinane (Comedy Central), Chris Gethard (HBO, Comedy Central) Doug Stanhope, Jay Chandresekhar (Broken Lizard, Super Troopers) and David Huntsberger (Professor Blastoff), among many others. He began touring in 2014, as a host and featured comedian on the Altercation Punk Comedy Tour, as well as a coheadliner and producer on the Vacation Time Tour, and recently was the only supporting act for Demetri Martin through Florida. He has performed at festivals including the Cape Fear Comedy Festival (NC), The Fest (GNVFL) Broken Record (TN), Free Press Summer Festival (HTX), Fun Fun Fun Fest (ATX), Come and Take It Comedy Festival, Houston WhateverFest, HellYesFest (NOLA) and the Trill Comedy Festival (HTX). Based on the Myers Briggs scale, Brian Zeolla is an idealist! He enjoys pizzas.
