Sister Speak takes audiences on a captivating journey with her blend of alternative, indie-folk, blues, and world music influences. With Sherri Anne's soulful vocals, compelling guitar work, and a backing band of incredible groove and energy, Sister Speak's sound resonates deeply with fans across the globe.
Sister Speak has toured widely across North America and Europe, and her new album, Coming Home, is set to ignite even more excitement. Her summer 2025 tour promises to bring the music back to beloved cities, including the one that inspired Sherri Anne’s song "New York Sunrise", NYC.
With the expertise of Juno-Award-winning engineers Elisa Pangsaeng and Erik Neilson (bassist of City and Colour), the upcoming release is an exciting new chapter for Sister Speak. If you’re in one of the cities on their summer tour, it’s definitely an event not to be missed!
Recently, Sister Speak has supported reggae legend Don Carlos, Air Supply, and The Doobie Brothers. In addition, she has performed at festivals alongside acts such as Black Uhuru, Mary Lambert and The Wailers, among others. Sister Speak's song "Will it Ever" is featured in a John Travolta movie and her music can be heard on CBC, BBC, NPR, and various radio stations around the world. During her time in California, Sister Speak was voted "Best Pop" at the San Diego Music Awards and "Top 10 Rhythm Guitarist" by NBC, and partnerships formed with sponsors Taylor Guitars and D'addario (strings). Fourth record, Love For All, co-produced by Stephen Haaker and Brett Grossman, features an award-winning team and both a festive and vulnerable voyage of songs.
