Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre Company Audition Announcement:The Grown-Ups

Following a group of camp counselors trying to mold the future leaders of tomorrow, when tomorrow is looking bleaker and bleaker, The Grown Ups is an immersive comedy that explores the traditions that change us, what it takes for us to change them, and how to change yourself when you’re hopelessly, tragically not prepared for this.
Auditions will take place on Friday, April 19 from 6:00 to 10:00pm, and Saturday, April 20 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm in The Harbor Room, Building G, at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301.

Performances will take place outside at Camp Gateway, Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, on the following dates:
Friday, June 14 – 8:00pm
Saturday, June 15 – 8:00pm
Friday, June 21 – 8:00pm
Saturday, June 22 – 8:00pm
(Rain Dates: Sundays, June 16 and 23)
Looking for 5 actors with strong comedic timing as well as some light improv ability. Please prepare a contemporary monologue. Memorized is preferred, but rather have you on book than not there if interested.
ALL ROLES ARE OPEN. There will be a small stipend provided to actors.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
LUKAS - (20s/30s to portray early 20s, white) is PUMPED to be back this summer.
CASSIE - (20s/30s to portray early 20s, not white) is EXCITED to be joining this summer.
BECCA - (20s/30s to portray early 20s, white) is THRILLED to be back this summer.
MAEVE - (20s/30s to portray early 20s, white) is literally SOOOO JAZZED to be back this summer you guys.
AIDAN - (20s/30s to portray early 20s, white) has a LOT of new responsibilities this summer.
