Connected Communities are Safer Communities Join the Gate Pā Community on Saturday, November 16, from 10am until 2pm at ANZAC Park for a family-friendly day out.
Bring the tamariki down for an ice cream from Mr Whippy for a koha, kindly donated by Mayor of Tauranga Mahé Drysdale.
This fun neighbours day will highlight the importance of community connection. Attendees will have access to valuable information about local community services, community safety, enjoy entertainment and spot prizes, and have the opportunity to purchase food from local vendors. The event also provides a platform for local groups to fundraise.
Raising Awareness for the New Gate Pā Community Centre A key focus of the event is to raise awareness for the new community centre facility set to be built next to ANZAC Park. This new centre will become a vibrant hub for Gate Pā residents.
