We’re kicking off Saturday Sips & Sounds: Good Vibes Live with a new soulful lane—Uptown Soul.Rooted in soul and shaped by acoustic sound, Uptown Soul is a smooth, groove-forward live music experience made for sipping, swaying, and settling in.
For the first Uptown Soul, we’re featuring Mark Rhodes, a Columbus-based Soul/R&B artist with a deep acoustic sensibility. Formerly of Mescalito, Jamnesia, and New Pollution, Mark has stepped into his own project and is currently working on his second LP.
His sets blend original soul with thoughtfully chosen covers, showcasing his vocal range alongside expressive acoustic guitar work. While rooted in Soul and R&B, Mark moves effortlessly across genres—bringing familiar songs a fresh, stripped-down feel and creating an intimate, warm vibe that pairs perfectly with
a great glass of wine.
