Groucho’s Bar will open at 7pm with Adam taking to the mic at 7.30pm
With over 40 million streams across multiple projects, Leicester based Adam Weikert is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and artist of electicism.
Graduating from De Montfort University with a distinction in performance, his captivating live shows feature a sublime blend of electronics, MPE synth, piano, banjo, guitar, asynchronous loops and beyond.
Known for his role as drummer and writer in band Her Name is Calla, Adam has shared the bill with artists as diverse as Philip Jeck, Sunn O))), and Eliza Carthy.
His performances resonate heartfelt and sincere, while his recordings span a wealth of influences - from the Sheng to the Musical Saw, Art Rock to Ambient. His work has featured across multiple mediums, from David Firth’s Sock Six, to Ana Stefaniak's stunning I May be Some Time, to François Ozon’s Peter von Kant.
