About this Event
Looking for a fun, hands-on experience? Come sip, sculpt, and sculpt clay at this pottery workshop.
Unplug, unwind, and make something by hand at our feel-good pottery night, no experience needed. Whether you come for the joy of making, community, or a mindful tech-free moment, this guided clay workshop is all about making something fun while you sip and socialize. You’ll learn the pottery basics, and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece (or two) you built by hand as well as a deeper sense of calm. Perfect for date night, catching up with friends, or coming solo to meet new people.
Bonus: We donate $1 from every ticket to mental health initiatives. Learn more here about which non-profits we’ve given back to so far, and how you can pick who we support next.
Your ticket includes:
- Hands-On Instruction: A relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop guided by an experienced host.
- Pottery 101: Learn foundational hand-building techniques like pinch pots and coils, then turn them into functional pottery with pieces like mugs, bowls, vases, or planters. We’ll also show you how to add fun touches like handles or texture.
- All Supplies Provided: We bring the clay, tools, and materials — you just bring yourself.
- Beginner-Friendly Vibes: Laid-back, no-pressure energy perfect for first-timers, solo guests, and friend groups alike.
- Feel-Good Energy: Enjoy a welcoming, community-centered experience hosted at unique local spots — from breweries to plant shops and cozy cafés — that make the experience feel extra special.
Note: After this workshop, you can air-dry your pottery. After a few days, your pottery will be ready to paint! Glazing + Firing (what makes your pottery waterproof and food-safe) is not available at this workshop. Use our Kiln & Ceramic Studio Locator to find a local pro who can glaze and fire your creations for you.
