A rare confluence of fine art, wine, and philanthropy awaits contemporary art collectors and wine enthusiasts, inviting guests to “Sip & Savor the ART!”—an exclusive one-night-only opening reception featuring live painting, a silent auction and curated wine pairings by renowned artist Penelope Moore.
On Tuesday, April 8th, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, guests are invited to 208 Wine Bar (208 E Bay Street, Savannah, GA) to experience a multi-sensory evening where Moore’s evocative brushwork unfolds in real time, translating the essence of flavor onto canvas. Throughout this month-long exhibition, connoisseurs can further engage with her work through “Taste the Art” wine flights, a bespoke selection of art and wine pairings designed to complement and enhance the artistic narrative. A portion of proceeds, including 20% of all art sales, will benefit Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, seamlessly blending artistic passion with a purpose-driven mission.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hailing from Napa Valley, California, and Northern Italy, Penelope Moore is an internationally recognized Abstract Expressionist whose unique gift of Synesthesia allows her to see flavor as color, texture, and emotion—translating taste into bold visual expressions onto larger-than-life canvases. Her “Art of Taste” experiences have captivated audiences across the US and Europe, her commissions and collaborations have included Mercedes-Benz, LVMH, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, Anthropologie, Hyundai, Bellavista, and Pahlmeyer Wines.
