For Art's Sake is hosting a fundraiser for Karma Kat Cafe (KKC)!Mystie Beckwith and her team work tirelessly to help the many local cats in need. Often, the cats that come in require vet appointments, medications, and other treatments, which adds up really fast! KKC has saved, rehabilitated, and found loving homes for hundreds of felines; that is a BIG JOB that not just anyone could handle, so FAS is hosting a Sip & Paint Fundraiser for this very deserving local business.
When you arrive your ID will be checked on the first floor and you will receive a goodie bag that includes snacks, a non-alcoholic beverage, and some other fun surprises. On your way upstairs, you can check out the raffle prizes and purchase tickets.
On the third floor of FAS we will have paint tables set up and ready to go when you get there. From 6-6:30, we will give people time to check in, receive their goodie bag, find a seat, and purchase raffle tickets. We will have raffle prizes from multiple local businesses and artists that also support KKC. From 6:30-8:15, Megan Bair, the owner of For Art's Sake, will lead a guided cat themed painting. At 8 o'clock, we will come to each table to do a last call on raffle ticket purchases. 100% of the raffle proceeds will go straight to KKC, as well as $30 from each ticket to the class! Winners will be chosen at 8:15.
Raffle tickets can be bought with Cash or Venmo.
1 ticket= $2
10 tickets= $10
Head-to-toe= $20
Mega Pull= $30 (pull as many tickets off the roll as you can in 5 seconds!)
This is a 21+ event and alcohol is BYOB! No glass please
FYI there is NOT handicap access to the 3rd floor.
