About this Event
SEARCH will help you on your journey to discover God, yourself and a Christian Community. The weekend is an opportunity to share Christ, make new friendships, pray, share questions, and have fun in an accepting atmosphere. This is time to experience a loving, supportive community of young people who want to share Christ, learn, and experience a closer relationship with God and with others. SEARCH weekends are open to all youth in their freshman year of high school or above. The SEARCH program is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church. SEARCH is a Christ-centered community of youth and young adults. SEARCH is lead by youth and young adults
SEARCH weekend is directed by a young person who has attended SEARCH retreats and has been chosen by the Sioux Fall SEARCH Board. He or She is assisted by team members who have attended one or more SEARCH weekends. Talks are given by other young adults, whose experiences and personal sharing will touch your heart.

Search Schedule
New SEARCHer: If you have never attended a SEARCH weekend before. Arrive at Holy Spirit at 8 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025. You will receive a letter at least 2 weeks prior to retreat with further details. SEARCH Team: Once you have attended your first SEARCH Retreat Weekend you are invited to serve on the weekend as a team member. TEAM members must be open to serve Christ and His people totally. Be sure you have the entire weekend open to serve. Arrive at Holy Spirit at 4 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025. Team will receive an email and letter prior to the weekend with further details. All team members are required to be present at the entire retreat.
Diet Restrictions

Consent Forms/Safe Environment
Anyone who attends a SEARCH weekend must complete and submit the liability form that will be sent to you. Please return it to the address below prior to the weekend.
Safe Environment

Early Bird Pricing
New Searchers - $70 if you register BEFORE February 21, 2025 ($85 after October 25th).
Team Members - $25 if you register BEFORE February 21, 2025 ($35 after October 25th).

Both New SEARCHers and Team members will receive a letter prior to the weekend with further details. Watch your mail and email!
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Please be aware of our policies regarding cancellations as follows: It sometimes becomes necessary for the Sioux Falls SEARCH Board to cancel a scheduled event due to low numbers, weather, or other extenuating circumstances. Please note that every attempt possible will be made to notify you of this cancellation. If the SEARCH Board does cancel an event, all fees will be fully reimbursed. Due to overwhelming demand and the need for advance planning, we require a definite commitment from participants. Therefore, all payments are nonrefundable. Please be aware that these policies are in place so that we may be as fair as possible to all groups and so that we may prepare adequately for the participants who are able to attend.
