Singles Meet Singles is FIFTEEN years old this year!! So, of course, we should celebrate!!! I’m going to try something different. Our group slants older, but I DO know there are 30’s and 40’s who have more trouble meeting others in their age group… so here is what we are going to try to do. 1. Still host the Singles Meet Singles for ANY single person in and around the Louisville area BUT also
2. I’ll have a 30’s table upon request (or more if more than 8 request). A 40’s table (or more, if more request), and the rest will be 50+ tables. This way, we can invite our single adult kids, their friends, and it’d be open to younger singles, too. (Remember when WE were all younger, trying to meet new people?) Let’s provide this for them (as well as celebrate our 15-years together!)
3. As always, if your group or group of 8 friends would like to reserve a table, you can request that, too. FREE.
4. If you’re an SMS married couple, YOU can get in FREE IF you bring a single friend who has not attended an SMS event!!
So to make this successful, I’ll need you to
1. Click “GOING!!!!” The last big dance I organized, I had 20 ‘going’ and 120 ‘interested.’ The Maybes don’t help me rent the room and hire the DJ.
2. Click “INVITE” on the event and invite all YOUR single friends. Then have THEM invite THEIR single friends. Etc. That is how we meet new people. Facebook only allows me 50 invites (and not 500) b/c I host too many events. I NEED your help with inviting others. Lots of others.
The cost for this will be $15.00 at the door, OR you can pay $10.00 in advance- BY June 4 at 7:00 p.m. (I really don’t want to charge over $10.00, BUT so many singles wait til the last min to commit, so I’m trying to entice you to pay and commit early). This will allow me to make you a name tag and ensure I fulfill your request for an age-range table, or special group, if requested.
If you don’t know ANYONE, that is why you need to come. If you’re uncomfortable, you can hang out with me at the registration table until you see someone you know, OR I’ll have a friend take you around and meet new people. You don’t have to dance to attend. There is a pool table and just lots of people to talk to so it’ll be worth coming b/c you’ll meet new friends.
