For those longing for a longer dose of puppy love, DAS is offering Valentine’s Staycations—short-term weekend foster opportunities that give dogs a cozy break from shelter life.Staycations allow participants to welcome a dog into their home from Friday through the holiday weekend. It’s a perfect way to enjoy companionship, provide a restful environment for a shelter dog, and support DAS’s lifesaving mission. If needed, DAS can also provide additional fostering resources such as supplies, guidance, and support to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Staycation Details:
• Pickup: Friday, February 13, 11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Drop-off: February 15 or 16 (DAS staff will coordinate the best time with each participant.)
