About this Event
Every minute of every day, every living thing is humming. We can all hear the sounds! The loud ones, the subtle, and the sounds in-between are a constant layer in our lives. The plants too, are singing in this choir of life. Join singer and activist Stacy Erenberg and Rev. Kim Crutcher, the Herbalism Conductor for Urban Growers Collective, for this one of a kind herbalism workshop. In celebration of the many ways that plants can heal; participants will get to hear their voices and join them in song. You don’t have to be a ‘good’ singer to participate; just come with a spirit of play. This workshop will offer an opportunity to see, smell and taste herbs as they grow in the herb garden. Come to explore this method of deepening your relationship with nature through herbalism and music.
A ticket for the workshop is $100; we. are offering a reduced cost ticket of $25 in exchange for 3 workshare hours at our South Chicago farm. Workshare hours need to be completed a week in advance of the workshop date in order for the reduced cost to be honored. If they are not completed, the ticket holder will be charged the additional $75 upon arrival to the workshop
