Singing Willows is a musical project that promotes bilingualism art and nature through music children’s literature and performances. The project includes a children’s picture book which features 20 bilingual songs about nature wildlife and silly adventures. The book is a tool that provides vibrant illustrations and original songs making it a beautiful resource for bilingual parents and teachers.
Alexandra Borghino the project’s creative director author singer and illustrator founded Singing Willows in the summer of 2021. With a background in theater visual art music and childcare Alexandra combined her passions to create a unique project. She worked with professional musicians to compose original bilingual folk songs and an engaging performance for young children.
