About this Event
Join Savitri D, Director of New York's Stop Shopping Choir and Reverend Billy, for a workshop exploring how the Stop Shopping Choir has used song and performance in direct action and community organising for over twenty years. It will be an opportunity to hear about the ways the choir community have used song as a way of showing solidarity with others, from supporting worker struggles, such as the Amazon Labour Union and its founder Chris Smalls, to taking climate action in branches of fossil fuel financing banks.
