The success of many resistance movements, from Martin Luther in 1517 to Minnesota just this year, have depended upon communities raising their voices together in singing. New Vision UCC, with Stark Indivisible and Action Together Stark, will share their gifts and their commitments to community, learning songs that have been used throughout protests movements in the last 100 years, as well as songs that were written by people in our very own community. Singing will be led by Anissa Glaser-Bacon, pastor of New Vision UCC and experienced song leader. Don't think you can sing? Come anyway. Being together and building community is what we need to be doing at this time to counteract the hate we are seeing in the world. Let's come together and make some "GOOD TROUBLE!"
