Join us for A Singing Circle in the Park: City Edition where we're bringing the ancient practice of singing in nature to the city.
People have gathered through history to sing under the open sky, connecting with the land and with each other. In our fast-paced, urban lives, we’ve largely lost this connection— but here's our opportunity to bring it back!
Inspired by The Keys Under the Mat, a free installation by Mike Hewson at Art Gallery of NSW where public spaces are to be used for creative endeavours and community building.
Hewson has reimagined the Tank at AGNSW as a combined park, playground, construction site, and commons – an anarchic and generous sculptural neighbourhood where visitors can meet, dwell, play, make, perform, explore and more.
We'll be visiting the installation after we sing and may just bring our voices to this wonderful space...!
🌿 No experience needed—just a voice and an open heart.🌞 All ages welcome.🎶 Perfect for shy singers and those who’ve been told they “can’t sing.”🗣️ Songs are taught by ear—no musical experience required.
This is a gentle, joyful space to rediscover your voice and the mood-boosting joy of singing with others.

🎟️ Tickets: Pay What You Can - recognising everyone has different financial capacities but we all need to access creativity & connection...alongside the reality that creatives & community builders also need to cover costs and pay bills.
