About this Event
“Now there is music from which a man can learn something”, said Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart upon hearing the motets of Johann Sebastian Bach.
This concert celebrates that genius with three of Bach’s most joyful motets, with music that continues to inspire centuries later. Adding to the vocal splendour is a rare treat: two harpsichords in dialogue as Tristan Russcher and Matthew Owens perform Bach’s Concerto in C, a work brimming with vitality and joy.
