What kind of music?
Rock. Blues roots. Variety as needed.
Are you forming an actual band?
Yes. The jam sessions are how we find the right people.
Will the band get gigs?
Yes. Midland keeps musicians busy if they show up and deliver.
What's the music video for?
We are training a production crew on professional gear — cameras, lights, audio, live switching. Real musicians in a real room make that training mean something. And you could end up in a professional music video.
What does the music video actually look like?
Studio recorded. On location video shoot.
What do I need to bring?
Drums and keys are already in the room. Piano too. Guitar players bring their own. Singers just show up.
Do I need to come with a band?
No. Solo is fine. Just show up ready to play.
Is there pay?
Not yet. We are in the building phase. The opportunity is real. So is the work.
Is this a church thing?
We meet at First Presbyterian Church of Midland, who are kindly hosting us. This is not a church event or call.
We meet in the chapel located on the corner of A Street and Texas Ave. Park in the parking lot across from chapel on Texas Ave.
