About this Event
Please join us to sing and play a wide range of folk music, from traditional to contemporary, in a low-key, warm, and friendly environment. Check out some of our previous repertoire here:

Going around the circle, which is typically 6 to 12 people, we each take a turn suggesting a song, and usually leading it. (You can always pass, of course, and the co-organizers are here to help.) We sometimes use Rise Up Singing as a source, especially for simple 3-chord tunes, so bring that book along if you have it. If you’d like to lead a song more complex in chord structure, please bring multiple copies of printed music for the group. (We prefer to have lyrics with chord notations throughout the song or full sheet music.)
Singers and instrumentalists of all levels are welcome, and there is a digital piano available at our indoor venue. You can come 15 minutes early to tune or unpack if you wish. Important Notes:
Registration for this event opens on the preceding Sunday evening. If you’re on our email list, you’ll receive a notification that includes a “Register” button at around that time.
First-time registrants will receive the exact address by direct email from the organizer. The location of the pin on the Eventbrite map is not accurate.
