Join guest song leader Sally Jaquet for a magical evening of singing surrounded by the giant redwoods.
About this Event

Nestled amongst the majestic redwood trees in Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, come join Sally Jaquet to sing with and about the nature surrounding us. We'll learn songs about the trees, plants and animals that abide with us - expect Scottish and Appalachian folk songs, lullabies, birdsong, and of course: lots of harmonies! This will be a wonderful experience connecting us to nature, to our own musical selves, and to the community of the Botanics.

Everything will be taught by ear in a fun, friendly and informal way. No experience is necessary - just a love of singing and being in nature!

Please note, entrance is via the East Gate on Inverleith Row only. Seating will be available and the redwood grove is a five minute walk from the gate. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters may be requested by contacting [email protected].

Please note this is an outdoor event.

This event is part of the Botanics Choir series, celebrating the power of plants through song!
