Karna – Bound by Fate

A dance narrative By Sankhya Dance Company

This work revisits Karna’s destiny on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. As his chariot halts in the war’s climax, memories resurface of his birth and the dilemma, of his training, of his kavacha -kundala, of Draupadi vastra harana.

Each episode unfolds through dance, tracing his sacrifice, loyalty, and the inevitability of fate. Returning to the battlefield, he faces Arjuna for a combat.

A moving portrayal of the noble warrior—bound by generosity, undone by destiny.
